Verona is a small city, and the best way to see it is on foot. However, thanks to the effective public transport system, it is easy to move around in Verona and its surrounding areas. The company that serves the public buses is called ATV (Azienda Trasporti Verona) and they provide two different types of buses: the city bus (named “Urbani”) and out-of-town buses, in all Verona Province (called “Extraurbani”). Tickets can be bought in the tourist boards, official ticket offices, tobacco shop (Tabaccheria), on the ATV link below and on-board on the bus. If you decide to buy your ticket on the bus, you should be aware that it will be an extra charge and you will need to pay with exact coins.
